Here are some interesting facts about Ukrainian

In 1934, Ukrainian was voted the second most melodic language on the planet, following Italian. It was also given the title of third most beautiful, this time following French and Persian.

Speaking of “second”, it is also the second most spoken Slavic language. After Russian, of course.

And, much like is Russian, there is no difference between G and H. While the language does have these sounds, it’s difficult for native speakers to tell the difference between them.

Although Ukrainian uses the Cyrillc script, it’s different from the one used in Russian. Often, it’s also possible to find texts written in the Latin alphabet to help foreigners understand.
